Lock up!

YAY!! We are in lock up! Went over on Saturday to find the carpenters working hard. Hubby went in and got scolded by one of them for going in with open toe sandals :p So couldn't get in basically.. went to Rouse Hill for lunch and groceries.. went over again but they are still working hard. oh well..

The stacker doors have been changed. Both the doors in the kitchen and dining are opening to the middle wall. We're really happy that we can change this :)

Now we need to think about fencing since the neighbours on both left and right hand side hasn't started building. The ones at the back (yes we got 4 properties as our neighbours :P) I think have been completed or very close to, but hasn't received anything from them regarding fencing.

An issue that has surfaced is with our laminate flooring. We have an agreed installation price for the laminate but didn't get anything in writing. Silly.. I know now. The sales person claimed that is they put it in the invoice it would be more expensive because the store has to take a cut and they can't do a good price. So we will have to pay directly to the installer. We have heard this from pretty much most of the stores, so we just went with it. Now that we wanted to confirm our prices and give them heads up that soon they can come and measure the house, they didn't remember ever giving us the cheap installation price. We are waiting from them, as the person I spoke to wasn't the sales person, although he was there and was part of the conversation. So we would give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to hear from them.
